Ok. Since this machine has new life (2 pentiums and lots o ram), most all the servers ever up are now back.
We have switched to Quake World! (and Quake2) and now run a Thunderwalker server with South Park sounds! The sounds were all taken from the first six episodes, and the quakeworld source was modified to play them at appropriate moments. I know that there are a lot of sounds there, so if you would rather just download a zip file and unzip it in your quake directory (don't forget -d if you are doing it on the command line so that you get the directory structure extracted from the zip as well), you can get the file:

It's just a lot faster getting it directly, but if you don't mind the wait, I promise you will enjoy the sounds.
